Job Overview
We are seeking a new Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As an Assistant Project Manager , you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs.  This opportunity will be located onsite at the client location in Florida and requires a daily onsite presence.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as a direct support resource to the client’s Project Management Office (PMO), assisting in the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent projects
  • Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination and execution of assigned projects within the client’s portfolio
  • Track project performance against scope, schedule and budget baselines, ensuring variances are escalated promptly
  • Coordinate activities between internal departments, contractors, consultants and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, meeting minutes and status reports
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify alignment with project plans and coordinate with field personnel and inspectors
  • Review contractors pay applications and change orders for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
  • Assist in coordinating project activities within an active port environment to minimize disruption to business operations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in project coordination or project management support
  • Demonstrated experience working on maritime or port projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, ACC and MS Project
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
  • Have good to great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with maritime safety standards or regulatory environments
  • Experience with public-sector procurement policies and regulations

Salary Range: $95,680-121,056, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
