Pay: $120,000 - $140,000.00 per year

Location: On-site, Monday–Friday in Redlands, CA (this is a fully in-office role for attorneys who want consistent collaboration and mentorship).

Note: Must have 3+ years of litigation experience; public entity defense experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Support and manage high-exposure civil litigation matters, including public entity defense cases
• Draft and revise legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
• Perform legal research and prepare internal case strategy memos
• Maintain and organize case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with attorneys and staff to move matters forward
• Assist with case preparation for hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)
• Public entity defense experience preferred (school districts, counties, municipalities, dioceses, etc.)
• Strong legal writing skills (motions, discovery, research)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple active matters
• Active bar membership in good standing (California strongly preferred)
