About the Role A leading Minnesota-based health insurance organization — recognized for serving members across government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual & Family Business) as well as commercial markets — is seeking a Change Management Consultant – Platform Migrations to support a major enterprise transformation initiative. This opportunity is offered through our staffing firm on behalf of the client, whose headquarters is located in Minnetonka, MN.
This consultant will play a critical role within the client's Transformation Team, supporting large-scale platform migration efforts that impact both IT and business operations across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare or health insurance — particularly government programs — combined with deep expertise in platform migration and IT-enabled change.
Job Description Reporting to the Director of Change and Development, the Change Management Consultant will lead change strategy and execution across IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful, timely adoption of new platforms, processes, and ways of working. This is a highly consultative role requiring a proactive change leader who can influence without direct authority, build credibility across a complex matrixed organization, and confidently engage leaders at all levels.
Success in this role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving program needs. The consultant will cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, proactively mitigate adoption risks, and drive engagement and organizational readiness through comprehensive change plans. They will provide consistent program updates and partner closely with Change Management, PMO, IT, and business leaders.
As part of a broader transformation, this consultant will work alongside other Change Management Consultants supporting adjacent platform migration workstreams — coaching peers, sharing best practices, identifying cross-functional impacts and dependencies, and ensuring a connected, consistent change experience across the enterprise. Leveraging the client's established change methodology, the consultant will help deliver a scalable, integrated approach across all initiatives.

- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify organizational risks, resistance, and barriers to adoption; develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Cross-Program Change Leadership: Collaborate with and coach fellow Change Management Consultants across migration workstreams to align strategies, share lessons learned, identify interdependencies, and deliver a cohesive stakeholder experience.
- Additional Change Management Activities: Execute additional change management tactics as required to support successful program delivery.
