We are currently hiring a Residential Chef to join our dedicated team at our 2 beautiful 6-bed adolescent residential treatment centers in Sacramento (Arden Oaks and Fair Oaks) . We serve adolescents struggling with mental health, substance use, and behavioral issues in a safe, supportive, and structured environment.
As our Residential Chef , you will be responsible for:
Preparing nutritious, delicious meals (lunch, dinner and 2 snacks) for teens and staff in accordance with dietary needs and guidelines.
Creating weekly menus that support both physical and emotional wellness.
Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen that meets all health and safety standards.
Ordering supplies and managing inventory within a monthly budget.
Has experience working with teens or in behavioral health settings (preferred but not required).
Is passionate about food as a tool for healing and connection .
Demonstrates excellent time management , organization , and communication skills .
Can remain calm under pressure , take initiative, and maintain professional boundaries at all times.
Experience as a chef or cook in a residential, school, or health care setting.
ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Ability to pass background check and TB test.
