About the role

Our team is looking to add a skilled and reliable Commercial Service Plumber . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial environments such as office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting and Testing: Regularly inspect and test plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste disposal.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot any malfunctions in plumbing systems.
• Installation: Install new plumbing systems according to design specifications, including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty parts in plumbing systems, such as broken pipes, clogged drains, and leaking fixtures.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients to explain repairs, maintenance needs, and provide system operation instructions.
• Documentation: Document all work performed and provide detailed service reports to clients.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water distribution, waste disposal, and gas systems.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide high-quality service.
• Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Union Requirement : Must be an active UA Local 100 member or willing to join.
