Job Description

Position Summary

The Director of Product Management is a key leadership role responsible for defining product strategy and accelerating innovation across VIDA's portfolio. This leader will drive the pace at which ideas move from concept to measurable impact in a lean, growth-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, makes sound decisions quickly, and balances innovation with the discipline required to deliver high-quality, regulated clinical trial imaging solutions. This role partners closely with Engineering, Data Science, Clinical Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure products create meaningful customer and business value.

This position is hybrid out of either our Edina, MN or Coralville, IA office.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & KPIs

  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with corporate objectives. 
  • Identify new capabilities, platform enhancements, and workflow improvements. 
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product adoption, portfolio performance, and business impact.
  • Drive execution speed and accountability across the product portfolio.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and development through launch and adoption. 
  • Partner with Engineering, AI Science, and Operations to make pragmatic trade-offs that maximize speed and value. 
  • Translate customer, user, and operational needs into clear product requirements and prioritized outcomes. 
  • Ensure successful launches through strong change management and stakeholder alignment.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product Management team. 
  • Build lightweight, scalable product management processes appropriate for a fast-moving company. 
  • Serve as a connective leader across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Clinical Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams. 
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, business, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including leadership responsibility. 
  • Proven success delivering complex software, AI-enabled, or data-driven products. 
  • Experience operating effectively in dynamic, high-growth, and ambiguous environments. 
  • Strong executive communication, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare technology, medical imaging, clinical trials, or AI/ML platforms. 
  • Familiarity with regulated development environments and quality systems. 
  • Experience scaling products, teams, or product operations within a growth-stage company.
  • Background working with enterprise SaaS or platform-based business models.
