We are actively seeking a Draftsperson for our Facade & Roofing team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements
- Review and modify existing drawings as necessary
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions based on project needs
- Collaborate with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency and efficiency in drawing production
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology
Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum drafting experience Degree or course experience in Technical design, Architectural program, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience with drafting in AutoCad and/or Microstation required. Architectural drafting/modeling will be considered Experience with 3D modeling in Revit Structure and/or Bentley Structural Modeler preferred Familiarly with US National CAD Standards (NCS) preferred
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of design principles
- Familiarity with system design concepts
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
