Job Description

We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist in Ashland. This is a part-time position, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 7:50 am to 5 pm. Approximately 25 hours a week. Please apply only if you have experience as a medical receptionist, PSR, phone operator, or front desk staff member in a medical clinic setting.

$18-20 DOE

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Patient Greeting and Communication: Warmly welcoming patients and visitors, answering phones, and directing calls to the appropriate staff or department.
• Appointment Management: Scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and managing the clinic's schedule.
• Patient Record Management: Maintaining and updating patient records, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Billing and Payment Processing: Collecting patient payments, processing insurance information.
• Administrative Support: Assisting with tasks like filing, faxing, and maintaining the office supplies.
• Office Organization: Keeping the waiting area and front desk area organized and presentable.
• HIPAA Compliance: Adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Other Duties: As assigned.

Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
