Job Description

Our client, a management consulting firm headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Management Consultant to join their growing advisory practice. This role focuses on delivering data-driven recommendations and process improvement initiatives across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients spanning healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing sectors.

The consultant will work directly with client stakeholders to assess current-state operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop actionable roadmaps for improvement. Engagements typically run six to eighteen months, requiring strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Travel to client sites within the Mid-Atlantic region is expected up to 30% of the time.

This is a hybrid position based out of the King of Prussia office, with in-office collaboration days scheduled on a team cadence. The firm offers structured mentorship, a defined path to senior consultant and manager roles, and exposure to cross-industry client work from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct current-state assessments of client operations, workflows, and organizational structures
  • Develop detailed findings reports, executive presentations, and implementation roadmaps
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with client leadership and subject matter experts
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and risks across multiple concurrent engagements
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to deliver integrated recommendations
  • Support business development activities including proposal writing and client presentations
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with client project sponsors throughout engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4 or more years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or operations
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and executive-level deliverables
  • Experience managing project timelines and coordinating across cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior audiences
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to client sites in the Mid-Atlantic region

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with annual performance bonus
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching up to 4%
  • Hybrid work schedule with flexible remote days
  • Structured career progression framework with defined promotion criteria
  • Annual professional development and continuing education stipend
  • Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers
  • Firm-sponsored industry certifications and training programs
