It offers 24/7 pharmacist support, infusion therapy, compliance packaging, cost-management solutions, and technology-driven services designed to improve medication safety and patient outcomes for residents across Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Salary:
$17.50–$21.00/hour

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist to support the billing operations of its long-term care pharmacy. This role is responsible for insurance verification, claims processing, billing issue resolution, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Accurately enter billing charges and maintain patient records.
• Initiate private-pay collections following insurance denials, cancellations, or coverage issues.
• Process and follow up on insurance claim denials.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and client account issues.
• Complete monthly billing closeouts and invoice processing.
• Communicate with patients, families, and insurance providers regarding billing questions.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Previous medical billing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
