About the Role:
Seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support surgical teams in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments
Maintain sterile field during procedures
Assist surgeons nurses and anesthesia teams
Pass instruments and supplies during surgeries
Perform surgical scrubbing duties across specialties
Handle sterilization and infection prevention protocols
Monitor surgical inventory and supplies
Assist with patient positioning and OR setup
Float to SPD and ENDO departments as needed
Maintain accurate surgical documentation
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Active California Surgical Tech credentials/license required
Minimum 2 years acute care OR Tech experience required
Recent operating room experience required
Strong sterile technique and infection control knowledge
Ability to scrub and assist during surgeries
Previous procedural department floating experience preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in fast-paced surgical settings
Travel experience preferred but not required
Experience with multiple surgical specialties preferred
BLS certification required
