Job Description

We are hiring a Production Assistant to join a top entertainment company in NYC. This freelance role will be running for 12 months with potential to extend and will be onsite Monday – Thursday, remote Friday.

• Pay Rate: $34.50/HR

Responsibilities:

• Assist producers and associate producers with pre-production, on-set, and post-production tasks
• Research storylines, sports trends, and cultural insights to inform creative development
• Help source footage, music, talent, and production assets
• Coordinate logistics including shoot schedules, travel, and equipment
• Log footage, maintain organized project files, and assist with rights and clearances
• Support social and digital content distribution
• Manage day-to-day administrative needs for the production team
• Actively participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas
• Seek mentorship and skill development opportunities across the creative team

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in production, marketing, or related field
• Demonstrated passion for sports and storytelling
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
• Familiarity with production tools and workflows is a plus
