**An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking a first-shift Production Assistant to support
the production manager.

$19/hr. Plus full benefits
1st shift
Tuesday – Saturday 06:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m.
Somerset, NJ
Requirements of the Production Assistant:
Experience in working in a production environment, preferably in food manufacturing, but open to others
HS Degree or equivalent required
Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Able to communicate, read, and understand in English
Knowledge of the applicable processes and related equipment
Responsibilities of the Production Assistant:
Monitor production lines and GMP areas and report issues to the supervisor
Log line stops and losses via Teams
Contact Maintenance or QC as needed
Follow SOPs, SSOPs, and company policies
Flag noncompliance and unusual data in records
Support training for new line workers
Keep workspace clean and safe
Enter and manage production data
Ensure daily production goals are met

Schedule: 1st shift Tuesday – Saturday 06:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday off
