Location: Valencia, CA Zip Code: 91355 Start Date: Right Away Contract: 6 months Shift: 1st Shift Keywords: #AerospaceManufacturingJobs; #CompositesEngineerJobs; #Valenciajobs; Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer with composites experience to support production, repair, and sustainment activities for Environmental Control Systems (ECS) components at a leading aerospace manufacturer. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on manufacturing support, MRB/disposition, and technical problem-solving in a shop floor environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in composites manufacturing, engineering drawing interpretation (GD&T), and aerospace production processes, along with the ability to manage project-level responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for aerospace ECS components including heaters, hoses, valves, actuators, and pump systems
• Perform MRB (Material Review Board) / disposition of nonconforming parts, including root cause evaluation and corrective action recommendations
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to determine manufacturing or repair requirements
• Support repair and sustainment activities, including evaluating returned or damaged components and defining repair paths
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues
• Assist with tooling, process improvements, and manufacturing readiness activities
• Own and support project-level deliverables, including tracking progress, managing risk, and ensuring timely execution
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve manufacturing efficiency
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, FAIR, NCR processes)

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering, MRB, or production support
• Hands-on experience in a composites manufacturing environment (layup, bonding, curing, or related processes)
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Experience with MRB/disposition, nonconformance (NCR), and repair processes
• Solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and shop floor operations
• Experience managing or supporting technical projects in aerospace or regulated industries
• Comfortable working onsite in a production/manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting repair and sustainment programs in aerospace
• Familiarity with Environmental Control Systems (ECS), thermal systems, or fluid systems
• Experience working with major aerospace OEMs (e.g., Boeing, Bell, etc.)
• Knowledge of FAIR (First Article Inspection), deviation, and concession processes
• Experience with Oracle ERP, BPCS, or similar manufacturing systems
• Background in tooling design or manufacturing process development

• 100% onsite in Valencia, CA (no hybrid/remote flexibility)
