Overview
Surgical Tech – travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Specialty: Surgical Tech. Start date May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,317–$1,418 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift: Day shift with extended hours, on-call, weekends and holidays; no block scheduling. Setting: hospital operating room.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room, ensuring all instrumentation, supplies, and sterile equipment are ready for procedures.
- Pass sterile instruments to the surgeon and surgical team; anticipate instrument needs to support efficiency.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures; manage instrument counts (sponges, sharps, needles) per policy.
- Assist with patient positioning and draping; handle specimens as directed by the surgical team.
- Manage and troubleshoot equipment as needed; support anesthesia and circulator to maintain safety and flow.
- Communicate clearly with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and circulating staff to support patient care and procedural efficiency.

Requirements
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible for CST certification
- Travel experience: prior travel assignment experience required
- Trauma experience: Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Burn experience: preferred
- Work readiness: ability to function in a fast-paced OR environment; capable of day shift with on-call, weekends, and holidays
