Overview
Surgical Tech – Orthopedic surgical tech position in Watertown, NY. Start 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,826–$1,966 per week with 40 guaranteed hours. Day shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) in a hospital travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in surgical procedures under supervision, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
- Prepare the operating room for cases, including instrument sets, supplies, and equipment; ensure proper sterilization and readiness.
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument handling, exposure, and device/implant exchange; manage counts and specimen labeling.
- Support orthopedic procedures and robotic-assisted cases with DaVinci as applicable; troubleshoot equipment and maintain sterile field.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team and, as needed, assist with orientation or precepting of new staff.

Requirements
- Current NBSTSA or NCCT certified Surgical Technologist (certification required)
- Must have travel experience in a surgical tech role
- Orthopedic surgery and scrubbing experience required
- DaVinci robotic system experience required
- Completion of an approved pharmacology course or documented medications exam
- BLS certification required; must arrive within 30 minutes of call
