Job Description
We are hiring multiple CAD Designers/Engineers across Levels I IV to support Virginia Class model file conversions and design initiatives. Candidates will convert 3D models into the Siemens NX application, including setting up construction views.
This role involves designing components or portions of systems, modifying existing designs, and supporting manufacturing operations. Candidates will work across multiple disciplines (structural, electrical, piping, mechanical, ventilation, and sheet metal) and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and planning teams.
Responsibilities also include preparing layouts and sketches, performing basic calculations, and ensuring designs meet manufacturing requirements, material availability, and contractual specifications.
