What We're looking for:

We are seeking a highly organized and sales-driven Events Manager to lead the buyout and high-impact event program at Lamberts, while also managing partial and full buyouts at Sammie’s. This role is responsible for driving revenue through strategic selling, client relationship management, and ownership of complex events.

This position is focused on high-value, high-touch events—including full restaurant buyouts and large-format experiences—while partnering closely with an Event Coordinator and Event Captains who support execution and logistics. The ideal candidate is both a strong seller and a polished operator, capable of managing multiple high-stakes events simultaneously. While this role is primarily focused on driving sales and managing client relationships, it requires a strong operational foundation and the ability to step in and lead event execution when needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.

What You'll do:

  • Own and manage all buyout inquiries and bookings at Lamberts, including full restaurant buyouts, large-format events, and overseeing family-style bookings
  • Manage partial and full buyout opportunities at Sammie’s, focusing on revenue growth and strategic event positioning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through contracting and high-level planning
  • Conduct site tours and represent both brands with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
  • Develop proposals, pricing, and contracts aligned with business goals and brand standards
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams on menu planning, service structure, and event feasibility
  • Lead weekly BEO meetings and maintain a forward-looking event pipeline
  • Track revenue performance, deposits, and billing in Tripleseat and Toast
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and actively identify opportunities to grow buyout and event revenue
  • Build relationships within the local community and leverage the MML network to drive new business
  • Support on-site execution of buyouts and other high-touch events to ensure event details are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of event or private dining management experience in upscale hospitality
  • Proven track record in sales, client relationship management, and revenue generation
  • Strong understanding of food & beverage operations and service standards
  • Experience managing complex events such as buyouts, large-scale dinners, or multi-course experiences
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-touch events simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional presence
  • Proficiency in Tripleseat, OpenTable, and related systems
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, operations, and leadership teams
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
